Looking back, some we regret, but the decision to install tilt and slide windows and patio door was one we are still happy with. After 10 years, they work perfectly and continuously evoke "Wow's" from our numerous guests. The patio door, with its 5 foot opening, provides an easy flow for people, furniture, etc - which is especially nice in the busy summer months. It also locks tightly, leaving no draft or loss o heat during the winter. The tilted windows provide effective ventilation, and a breath of fresh air when you need it most. The tilted window position opening towards the ceiling removes stagnant air in seconds, unlike sash windows. The windows are so easy to clean, and are safe for both children and pets.
